CQ) first response = quidditch, more real response = asteroid race course, best response = some version of an -athalon where you have shooting segments and flying segments.

The Stella should be a Jack of all Trades; medbay, combat bay, exploration bay, machine shop, assay lab, science labs, etc. Maybe even with a modifiable P-52 to match the differing roles. A wee ship for charting jump holes, or pod recovery (think the choppers on MASH), stealth, recon & fwd observation, passengers, small cargo…
RCAF F-35’s =no comment.
The sport I would like in the 31st verse? Rollerball (1975). Shoot an iron sataball out of a cannon and have the players catch it in zero-G. Whee!
