In this week’s flight deck we bring you all the headlines from simulated space including the latest news from Elite Dangerous, Star Citizen, and Dual Universe. Next, we’ll get the news from the deep black with Spencer McDunn on Galactic Public Radio. After that we continue our audio adventure, Guard Frequency Origins and go tink tink tink down another hallway. Finally, we open up the feedback loop and let you join in on the fun.

Lace up your booties, campers, it’s time to head out to the Flight Deck.

Do you like what we do? Want to help us make the Best Damn Space Sim Podcast Ever? We’re looking for a replacement audio engineer to help us bring you the show you love each week. Absolutely no experience is necessary as we’ll train you in everything you need to know. All you need is an ear for good radio, and have a spare hour or two each week. What’s the right time to figure out PvP – right up front with the game design or after all the plumbing has gone in?

    wonderful show everyone

“markety type stuff” , that has to be business 201 at least.

PVP should be set up after all the plumbing is put in.

DISPUTATION OF CITIZEN BOBO LUTHER ON THE POWER AND EFFICACY OF INDULGENCES

OUT of love for the truth and the desire to bring it to light, the following propositions ought be discussed at Guard Frequency, under the delicious oversight of the most revered Kinetic Impulser, Philosopher King, Master Interlocutor in The Great Discernment for Sanity and Reason, Clerk to The Assistant to the Holder of The Sacred Chalice of Rixx, and Lecturer in Ordinary on the same at that place.

Wherefore he requests that those who are unable to be present and debate orally, may do so by letter. In the Name of our patron, Saint Lesnick the Missing in Development, Amen.

Proposition the First – When He who is our Philosopher King advised ‘semper erit vigilantium,’ He willed that the whole spirit of backers should be vigilance. Further He speaketh that this word cannot be understood to mean the sharing of familiar song within warm caverns, for this is the ill folly of chaste knights and their odious familiars.

Thus endeth today’s lesson. Go forth and share His good news.

    Bobo Luther

    Good show.
I’m not a fan of PvP, so personally I’d answer never to the community question. but generally I’d say the testing can wait until the defence and weapon systems have matured a bit.

Is PvP ever figured out? That would mean no new JPEGs to sell, nerfs or buffs to code for, different maps to die in and user mod hacks to rant in the forums about. That would suck hard, don’t you think? Good show boys.
