Guard Frequency Episode 040 | GET ON YOUR FEET, NUGGETS!

Greetings Citizens and Civilians, and welcome to episode 40 of Guard Frequency, the universe’s premier Star Citizen podcast recorded on 27th September 2014 and released for streaming and download on Tuesday 30th September 2014 at GuardFrequency.com [Download this episode]

Tony and Geoff are joined by our community manager Justin “Chivalrybean” Lowmaster this week for more fun and games than a Vanduul in a jester’s hat. This week we branch out and return to our roots in Squawk Box as we tell you all about an awesome invention that could be assisting humans as we attempt to colonise the deep black. In CIG News we bring you everything that’s happening around the UEE including our weekly Crowd Funding Update, the latest Letter From The Chairman, 10 For The Chairman episode 38 and the Concept Sale of the Aegis Reclaimer. In Nuggets for Nuggets we share with you some of our favourite tips and tricks for Arena Commander; and finally we tune into the Feedback Loop and let you join in on the conversation.

    Clarke, really, foundation, really!?!?!?
OOOOoooo missile clips, lock and load!
Loved the show everyone, i agree with the testing of ships in arena commander, they should have rental fees for ships.

Flying a M50 in Capture the Core when it is just 2 pilots.
Never shoot, and trick them into using all their missiles. Once they are out of missiles just wait until the get frustrated and crash their ship to respawn so they can reload. At which time you run and score.

The reason you weren’t scoring in Capture the Core is because a member of the other team had your core out. You can’t score a core until your friendly core is returned.

According to Tony, his core was there, but something wasn’t working right.

    Great show guys.

I’m a mediocre pilot at best, and I’m still having trouble with the HUD power management. That said, one trick that sometimes helps me out when getting swarmed is to go into the asteroids. It’s harder for the whole group to keep a lock on you while they’re also dodging rocks. It usually splits them up too, so you can isolate one to go after.
