Links & The Like

Elite: Dangerous

Elite Dangerous announced that they allowed some new streamers into their partner program. That’s it. That’s the news. Take it away Brian.

Star Citizen

Star Citizen began testing the double capacity Early Access Pre-Alpha Release Candidate Prototype Experimental Test Build 3.19.2 on the Evocati server. And depending on which NDA-breaker you believe, it’s either awesome or terrible. Furthermore, if the testing goes awesomer and not terrible-er, then on Monday, they’ll release the Final Final Final Flight Model to the Evocati as well. Next up, Theaters of War is definitely not canceled and it certainly isn’t shelved. What’s really happening is that it is being stripped for parts and then they will try to raise it from the dead. So, definitely not “shelved.” And if you were hoping for a “premium” CitizenCon 2953 experience, well, you can’t have one, because all the $300 tickets were sold out. You can still buy the “standard” $200 ticket, but really, what’s the point. But don’t worry, because according to the promo video, it’s going to be the 2021 convention all over again. Finally, we say goodbye to Port Olisar as it gets decommissioned in favor of a new modular station.

Star Trek Resurgence & Starfield

Star Trek Resurgence released a patch that should improve gameplay and performance over the release version, but it still won’t make me want to play it. And Starfield decided that AMD was a better choice than NVidia for a graphics partner which has made the internet very angry. And super special secrets were revealed during the FTC lawsuit against Microsoft and Activision. Guess how much The Last of Us 2 cost to make and how long it took to make it?

RPG idea, guard frequency needs a few projects done undercover, call in Super Audio Extreme, the Milli Vanilli of the Elite universe. Addendum, wigs would be a must.
RPG feedback: guns check, armor check, sword check, sword skill um …. sword skill?, that is a negatory, we have no sword skill.

    Great show everyone.
