Elite: Dangerous

Elite Dangerous is inching the story along with a community goal to upgrade the Xeno Scanners to detect Humagoids on the Titan Motherships. Next they’ll upgrade the limpets to collect them. And then your cargo holds to hold them. And, maybe sometime in 2024, your rifles to shoot them.

Star Citizen

Star Citizen released Early Access Pre-Alpha Release Candidate Prototype Experimental Test Build 3.20 to Waves 1 and 2 of the PTU – two weeks ago. And that’s still where it is this week. Which is probably fine, because everyone is still playing Starfield. But don’t worry, CIG is hard at work getting 3.21 to go out after 3.20 deploys. Which means that 4.0 and Pyro will not be in the next patch, which means that it will likely slip until 2024. But we’ve known that for a while now. And the way things are going, we may see 3.21 before we get the post mortem for 3.18 – which was due QUOTE very soon END QUOTE six weeks ago. Hey it’s only been six months since they released that patch. Let’s not rush anything. 


Starfield has been out for a couple of days – or a full week, depending on which version you bought – and it’s time for a real look at the game and what we think of the mechanics. We’re still going to keep mum on the stories and missions, but we may get specific in terms of tips and warnings. So, this first segment will be deemed “spoiler-lite.” You have been warned.

    Not even going to comment on ” it took me out of the game”, other than to say that that it IS a part of the game.
    The space fighting game definitely feels tacked on.
    OMG Yes, i wanted to be able to remove mods from gear and place them on other gear like i could in fallout 4. I also dislike that mods are more restricted on weapons. I have level 4 in weapon mods and found scopes especially are very restrictive.
    LOL on the Knights of Nii comments about the Mantis gear.
