Elite Dangerous is very definitely releasing the new feature this year, for sure, no doubt about it. We know this because Arthur said “we hope” to get the feature out – and then Drew Wagar said this means it won’t come out this year. So Arthur had to jump on the social medias and double, triple, quadruple down on his commitment to releasing this year. So, we’ve got that going for us. Also, the workers down at the rumor mill and the data mine seem to think that the new feature is going to be base-building, so we’ll take that for a swing around the table and see if we love the game we’re building.
Star Citizen released Early Access Pre-Alpha Release Candidate Prototype Experimental Test Build 3.22.1 EPTU.9059093 to the PTU server. This patch is available to anyone who is Security Clearance Level Wave 4 or above. Who is that, you may ask? We have no idea. Also, the CIG dev team is breaking records for data transfers at Amazon. PETAbytes of data. So it’s obviously a wonderful thing and reason for celebration and praise. I mean, when the guys running the data center are amazed at this incredible milestone and can’t wait for CIG to really get things going, that’s great news, right? And finally, it turns out that maybe welcoming griefers into your game isn’t the best long term strategy… or short term strategy.
Homeworld 3 announced a two month delay, with the release date moving from March 8 to May 13. To make up for the bad news, Gearbox released a demo of the multiplayer mode and the tutorial. But that will only last until February 12 or 15, depending on who is actually right.
- If griefers do successfully interfere with the planned Dynamic Event test, would that be enough to convince CIG that anti-griefer measures should take a higher priority?
- Let’s analyze people who like the words “squishy” and “weasel” and does that mean Tony is weird?
