Links & The Like

Elite: Dangerous

Elite Dangerous is teeing up the end of the Thargoid war and the beginning of the Powerplay changes, both of which should be happening over the next two or three weeks. And it looks like the hiring freeze is over at Frontier, as they are looking for a brand manager to, in part, QUOTE Deliver product positioning, audience insights and go-to-market strategy to both internal and external stakeholders while integrating and distributing feedback END QUOTE. I would apply, but my strengths lie in synergizing forward-looking KPIs with global tiger teams.

Star Citizen

Star Citizen released Early Access Pre-Alpha Release Candidate Prototype Experimental Test Build 3.24.2 PTU.9372109 to the PTU Server. One week before CitizenCon 2024, CIG’s absolutely last patch before the full 4.0 with Pyro and Server Meshing and everything we always wanted, if you wanted more character-designing options and a confusing fuel economy statistic. And another week of server meshing testing has come and gone, with some possible progress – depending on how you look at it.

Helldivers 2

Helldivers 2 is teasing their 63-day patch, which will release on the same day you download this show. There will be autocannons with flak, scorchers with automatic fire, reloadable backpack drones, and something mysterious happening with the stalwart, and MORE. And now that the fun has been restored, the devs are free to start making things difficult again. Things like flying bots and carnivorous but adorable animals.
