Elite: Dangerous
Elite Dangerous released their 2024-2025 annual financial report and we’re very… “meh” to report that everything is going pretty well. They dumped a bunch of things that were not making money, they fired a bunch of people, and quit doing things that were not in their wheelhouse. And just as they hoped, those actions turned into lots of guineaquids. And Elite Dangerous got a special shoutout for making 76% more money than it did last year! Pip pip and cheerio! Now we just have to wait another week for the Type 11 to get released.
Star Citizen
Star Citizen released Early Access Pre-Alpha Release Candidate Prototype Experimental Test Build 4.3.1 PTU 10262876 to the PTU server. All backers now have access to the new medical gameplay-slash-death mechanic, including the respawn goo and the distance limiter. As if that wasn’t exciting enough, Jared and Benoit talked for three hours about how things are going. And, wouldn’t you know it, things are going great. They’re going so well, Jared followed up with a forum post telling us how great things are going. You know, because none of us can predict the future and we never know what’s going to happen in the next year. Wait, what?
Dune: Awakening
Dune Awakening released the Lost Harvest Expansion, and there’s been a few hiccups. But there’s new story, new gear, and new easter eggs for fans of Dune lore.
