Links & The Like
Elite: Dangerous
Elite Dangerous released the Type 11 and started a mining CG which, y’know, it’s OK. But it wasn’t enough to make anyone around here open their Arx wallets.
Star Citizen
Star Citizen released Early Access Pre-Alpha Release Candidate Prototype Experimental Test Build Alpha 4.3.2 10388608 to the Alpha server. After a day with the Evocati and a few hours with the Wave 1 testers, all backers can now test the new salvage mechanics. These are definitely the foundations of the permanent and final salvage system. Except for integrating it into whatever the economy eventually looks like. Also, it only took a few hours for the new focus group system to more or less implode in the most CIG way ever. We’ll take the time to review and discuss: What did we learn today?
Dune: Awakening
Dune Awakening is laying off a bunch of people and Tony didn’t pay attention to much else this week.
