Elite: Dangerous
Elite Dangerous has announced a release date for Operations. And it’s not in April. I’ll give you a hint: it’s in a month that starts with a “J.” You’ve got three guesses… OK of all the options it could be, it’s the best one possible: June. But they offered a couple of things as an apology. First, the next new ship will be available immediately for in game credits. The Lynx Highliner from Zorgon Peterson can carry up to 225 passengers in Economy Class… um… style. Let’s go with “style.” It’s also fairly well armed and looks like a ship from the Ice Pirates. Google it. Also, they gave us some descriptions of the mission set we can run once the update is released. So, evidently FDev learned their lesson from Odyssey and apologized instead of releasing a bad patch.
Star Citizen
Star Citizen released Early Access Pre-Alpha Release Candidate Prototype Experimental Test Build 4.7.2 11674325 to the LIVE server. And, stop me if you’ve heard this before, but it’s not going well. The good news is that 4.8 is out for the Evocati and they want to know if anyone is having any Long Term Persistence issues. Inventory problems? Disappearing loot? Anyone? Anyone at all? No? Oh good. And our research badgers have brought us a price list for the Wikelo widgets and they’re surprisingly competitive – well, compared to the retail ship prices.
Starfield and The Expanse: Osiris Reborn
Starfield’s expansion DLC Terran Armada is now in Tony’s rearview mirror and he will gaze back at it fondly as he drives away and probably won’t play it again. Also, mi pensa Osiris Reborn is out kopang. Sasa ke, bossmang?
