Elite Dangerous has once again harkened to our words of wisdom and actually given us a pretty reasonable “punch list” of player-driven bug fixes and feature additions. This, combined with decent reception of Update 6, improves the prospects for tangible improvements over the next three months. But let’s give credit where credit is due: Drew Wagar! Frontier has implemented 2 of his 5 suggestions out of his list of 6 bullet points! I, too, am confused by this strange arithmetic! In any event, long time listeners of the show already know that Skiffy was the real brains behind the new punch list.
Star Citizen has released Early Access 3.14 to the live server and has announced another Free Fly event starting August 18th. There’s another Roadmap Roundup and some early news on the 3.15 patch. Also, pirates!
And Little Orbit has pulled a fast one to slow things down in the Descendent Studios case. I’m sure Tony is just overcome with joy, waiting to explain what that means.
- What would you call Descent: Underground if you had to call it something else?
- Does the punch list solve FDev’s communications problem?
