Links & the Like

Elite Dangerous

Elite Dangerous updated their Issue Reporter “top-20 punchlist” to reflect what they expect to clear off after update 7… which should probably go live soon after you download this show. They went through every item on the list point by point, ACCIDENTALLY skipping number 6. This was immediately pounced upon by everyone everywhere. But there was a good explanation: It’s those damn BOTS! Well, don’t worry everyone, we here at the Guard Frequency are all about solutions, and we’re gonna stop those cheaters once and for all! Oh, and FDev released their 2021 financials and the research badgers found some goodies that we’ll share.

Star Citizen

Star Citizen updated their Road… [TONY interrupts here]… uh, “Sequential Signposts” to Release in order to reflect their brand new focus on Squadron 42, and it’s not nearly as bad as it could have been. So far. Also, the medical, and injury, and character status gameplay scheduled for 3.15 has been described, and we’ll have some gentle words of advice for the team. Finally, CIG got yellow-carded by a lazy and toothless British regulatory committee and THIS. MEANS. SOMETHING.

The Rest of the Lot

Avorion 2.0 has officially released on steam, and Descent Underground filed their response in the 9th Circuit and Hunternet Starfighter kicked off their indiegogo campaign and Epic and Apple split the baby. I’d write more copy here, but the show’s already going to run long this week. Oh, wait, I almost forgot, naked bananas are OK in Federal Court.
